Liberty Lift Solutions LLC added Kelly Raper to its team as a business development representative, the Houston-based service provider said in an announcement on Aug. 17.
“Being in the gas lift business for 40 years, Kelly brings extensive knowledge and broad expertise in field operations, sales, safety, manufacturing, and executive management,” Liberty said in the release.
Raper began his career in the gas lift business with McMurry Hughes after graduating from Texas A&M in 1983. He has held various senior management positions with Macco Oil Tools, Total Energy Service and Weatherford International.
In 2003, Raper founded International Lift Systems and, in 2012, he helped co-found Priority Energy Services and Priority Artificial Lift. In 2017, he became president of Desert Downhole Tools in Midland, Texas and introduced gas lift to their packer and completion tool business.
Raper joined Beaumont Manufacturing and Distributors (BMD) in 2020, where he most recently focused on providing equipment to the artificial lift market.
“We are looking forward to working with Kelly and are very confident that working together we will be able to expand our gas lift product line in existing and new markets,” Liberty added.
Liberty Lift Solutions is a full-service pumping unit company based in Houston with service centers in Midland and San Antonio, Texas, Casper, Wyo., Bakersfield, Calif., Oklahoma City and Crosby, Willison and Dickinson, N.D. The company also have engineering locations in Fort Worth, Texas, and Chengdu, China.
